ARES is an association that represents the interests of retired European Space Agency (ESA) staff and their dependants. When you retire, your life will change in many ways. We help you to adjust to your new situation, keep you in touch with friends and former colleagues and inform you about changes in ESA that affect you.

Local ARES branches are in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. The branches organise events, provide information and help members to deal with local life. Branch activities are financed from the general membership fees – no extra fees are due.

ESA staff members and their dependants are offered free membership for a 12-month period. Membership can start up to one year before retirement, or at any time afterwards. More information and the membership application form can be obtained from ares@aresint.eu
